Larry Brooks, Ph.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who has been in practice since 1984. He received his Ph.D. from California School of Professional Psychology in Berkeley in 1981 and completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at Reiss-Davis Child Study Center. He is in private practice in Glendale specializing in the treatment of children. In addition to his practice, he is a Clinical Supervisor at Positive Directions. He is editor of the Glendale Area Mental Health Professionals Association Newsletter, a local multidisciplinary association he co-founded. He writes a column on mental health topics for its bi-monthly newsletter. He is also founder of Professional Development Programs. He is in private practice in Glendale specializing in psychological assessment and neuropsychology. Since 1996 Dr. Fox has taught law and ethics and assessment courses as an adjunct faculty member of Pepperdine University's Graduate School of Education and Psychology. He is the author of nearly a dozen professional publications is on psychological assessment, the MMPI and neuropsychology. He directed the Psychological Testing Service for Southern California Kaiser Permanente. Bonnie has specialty training in Cancer, Diabetes and HIV/AIDS. Bonnie worked for many years with the University of Michigan Diabetes Research & Training Clinic where she contributed to research and the development of educational interventions for management of chronic disease. She is currently in private practice in Glendale specializing in behavioral medicine, and life transition and adjustment issues. She enjoys working with couples including a special focus on assisting the couple with adaptation to disease. In addition to her practice, Bonnie is affiliated with The Wellness Community, a non-profit organization providing support and education to cancer patients and family. Bonnie helped develop and directs the Long Beach program where she also facilitates groups for patients and family. In addition, she has worked for many years as part of a UCLA research team conducting studies regarding psychosocial issues and coping behaviors of women with cancer. Resumé Daniel S. Leon LCSW is a master's level graduate from the School of Social work at the University of South em California. Mr. Leon has been working in the field of adolescent and family for approximately sixteen years. He has worked extensively in dual diagnosed hospital based programs as a therapist, director and consultant. He is currently co-owner and founder of INSIGHT: A Program for teens and their families, which is an adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program. There are currently two locations: One in Pasadena, CA and the other in Sherman Oaks, CA. He is also in full time private practice in Pasadena, CA.
